Fontana Car Show

Overview: Designed marketing materials for the Fontana Car Show to drive community engagement and event awareness. Deliverables included digital billboards, vinyl banners, window clings, and flyers, all built to work cohesively across large-format and print applications. The campaign was featured in the City of Fontana's 2026 Summer Activities Brochure.

Problem Statement:

  • Need cohesive visual identity without losing impact.

  • Something bold enough to drive foot traffic.

  • Rebrand while remaining recognizable to the audience.

Research & Insights:

  • Visual direction needs to connect with Fontana rather than a generic city government flyer.

  • Large-format print and digital billboard design follow different rules.

  • Design needs to feel accessible and bring credibility with visual context.

Design Process:

  • Moodboard Creation: 1964-66 Chevy Apache, Classic, Vintage look.

  • Color Palette: Purples, silvers, charcoal black.

  • Typography: Script font to resemble 1960’s.
