Giants Rebrand

Overview: This reconstructional rebrand honors the shared legacy of the Giants name across both baseball and football prior to the franchise’s 1958 move to San Francisco.

Problem: Since 1990, the San Francisco Giants have worn New York Giants baseball throwback uniforms only a few times—most notably in 1925 replicas on June 23, 1991, and 1912 throwbacks on June 3, 2012 with Matt Cain pitching, with just one additional documented appearance in more recent years.

Solution: This rebrand seeks to restore and celebrate those forgotten roots, paying homage to the Giants’ original identity in New York while reimagining it for a modern audience.
